Chuck stated so eloquently and profoundly:
#
# I was reading some documents for ircd the other day and stumbled upon an
# ircd.conf line that could be helpful to the users of Homer who want to use
# the features of MacServ. In ircd terminology, it's called an "S:" line.
# <stands for service line>. This line must be put in by an irc admin and
# would solve a few problems that people have been complaining about over the
# past few months.
#
# One of the only reasons that I can think of why MacServ is using DCC chat
# to do directory listings is that it would flood out. Since Homer doesn't
# have the capability for DCC chat, an S: line for the bot is the next logical
# idea that I can think of for a server like Macserv.
#

The newest Homer's can do DCC Chat.
