What about the possibility of a FAQ Bot?

Just like Usenet, #mac gets lots of Faqs; it would be nice to have a bot
specically to serve information on frequent topics. I don't know if this is
possible (I know nothing about programing/scripting a bot), but it would be
great for example if c.s.m.c faq was available in a bot (seperated into
indevidual topics).

This has the advantage that someone could come around and ask a question
when none of us are around and might actually get an answer (maybe even a
correct one).

Example:
/msg answerbot appletalk
answerbot: Topics: 191) Appletalk Remote Access, 386) Appletalk Networking,
answerbot: 1252) IP over Appletalk 1321) Other Appltalk stuff
/msg answerbot topic 1252
answerbot: Tunneling IP over an Appletalk Network:
answerbot: blah blah blah

What do you think? Am I on crack? IS this a good Idea?
